Summer Place, Hyde Park Wedding | A + G by Amanda Custo

When an Italian and a Lebanese family come together, the result is one beautiful and boisterous explosion of music, food and festivity!

This was the epitome of Greg and Arianna's wedding day - centred around family, friends, love and just being alive.

We enjoyed every single moment of this wonderful day, starting out Greg's house (brought back such good feels like just yesterday that I shot Greg's sister Stephanie's getting-ready photos there, as well as their engagement party).

Arianna got ready at the reception venue, Summer Place, Hyde Park and the ceremony took place at the Our Lady Of Cedars Woodmead church.

The day couldn't have been more perfect and the reception styling was the stuff made of fairytales, created by Wally and team Gideon's Flowers & Functions and coordinated by Michelle of Finer Details Events Management cc.

Arianna & Greg - you two are a magnificent pair! Your love and zest for life is tangible and we wish you a lifetime of love and laughter in a colourful mix of Italian, English and Arabic...

Lots of love,

Castello di Monte Wedding | D + A by Amanda Custo

I think somewhere during the reception, sitting in a forest of flowers and foliage, my husband and I looked at each other, in complete awe, and thought "Is this really our wedding?"

It is impossible to describe the joy, excitement, happiness and sheer gratitude that we felt on our wedding day. Towards friends and family members that put in immeasurable amounts of hard work and dedication to turn our dream into a reality. And far surpassing even our wildest fantasies of our perfect wedding day.

Here are a just a handful of images (actually even these 150 pictures are just a handful, as Gosia and Rynali took over 2000 images!) that depict the day and capture the essence of what we felt. Thank you so much to the following colleagues that have become friends over the years of working together. We will never forget you as you were part of the beginning of our story together.

Lots of Love,
Amanda & Don

Shepstone Gardens wedding: Ursula + Kevin by Amanda Custo

When we arrived at Shepstone Gardens last Saturday morning (skies beautifully clear, a couple of white doves perched on the chapel steeple), we were told that "the weather is just too will surely rain later on...".

But it didn't. And it stayed perfect.
We were so ridiculously excited about Ursula & Kevin's wedding, we were shaking with excitement (quite literally actually!) - not only by the dripping blooms from every ceiling beam and arch but by Ursula and Kevin's contagious excitement (and of course, Ursh's AMAZING wedding gown). Zavion, Lauren and the rest of the Zavion Kotze Events Company team was in top form arranging and decorating, while the crew of Zavion's TV show was filming their every move.
We feel blessed to have been part of such an awe-inspiring production!

Thank you 2015! by Amanda Custo

We are on the brink of a new year and sitting here in our little studio, drinking our Nespresso (me) and camomile tea (Goshia), we are just so grateful at how wonderful this journey and this year has been. It takes a while to write a "Gratitude" post, as one never knows even where to begin...

So let's begin right at the start. Estilo was born at the beginning of this year and Goshia and I have never been as excited about a project... it honestly feels like Estilo has been our little baby that we've been taking care of, feeding and getting on it's feet. But this brainchild of ours has also allowed us the most amazing and exciting opportunities that we could ever have imagined. We got to travel to the most stunning places in Europe and South Africa, meet and photograph extraordinary people and gorgeous events and work alongside our idols and colleagues.

A few things that definitely stood out from 2015 is Sorrento, Italy, where we shot Sabrina & Agnello's  wedding, being invited to be guest speakers at the Photo & Film Expo and winning first, second and third places in the Admired in Africa Awards.

We have big plans for 2016 and can't wait to share more, learn more, work more...and having some fun along the way. It was said once that if you love what you do you will never work a day in your life... Here's to an amazing year!
